This is a ride out which takes you over Bigland Fells and through some stunning Lake District countryside, ideal if you are already a confident rider wanting an extra special experience. Canter or trot through Bigland to Cartmel Valley and Morcombe Bay, a wonderful day that takes in a variety of sights.
Half Day Ride – For the more advanced and adventurous riders. This is a Fell Ride which goes over more challenging terrain and provides lots of opportunities to canter, where the ground is suitable. The standard fell ride lasts for approximately 3 hours. Riders must be able to canter in balance in an open environment and have had experience of riding out
For the more advanced and adventurous riders. This is a Fell Ride which goes over more challenging terrain, heading over Cartmel fells down into Cartmel Valley. We also go through the Racecourse and beautiful wooded areas. This ride provides many opportunities to canter ( where the ground is suitable) for those more adventurous types. A truly scenic and exciting ride!

We provide hats and boots, but long trousers or jodhpurs are advised.
Ring or email the center with the heights, weights, ability for the ride you wish to book. All riders will be expected to fill out a Rider Registration Form before riding. The dress code for the centre is loose comfortable trousers (preferably not jeans) and stout shoes (not trainers). We have hats and boots available at the centre. If you wish to cancel the ride please give 48 hours cancellation notice. If any rider books a ride and is found not to be suitable for the ride booked on the day(for health and safety reasons) they will be offered an alternative ride more suitable to their level, however, refunds will not be given for ride changes.
