This 2 day introduction to rock climbing course in Snowdonia is a great way to test your limits and learn how to rockclimb with an experienced instructor who can take you along the best routes for you. With all the climbing gear, all you need is a sense of adventure. This climbing course is great for new climbers who want to tackle a variety of guided routes.
This climbing course is designed to build on your current skills and is an ideal introduction to this challenging sport. All topics will be covered in a practical situation and each day is spent out on the crag giving you an excellent chance to learn and progress quickly and safely. The aim is to use different crags each day and to climb single and multi pitch routes. Over 2 days we will cover:
- Use of technical climbing equipment

- Placing protection

- Belay technique
- Protecting a personal abseil
- Rope management and knots
- Safe descents off the crag
- Understanding the principles of leading (if appropriate)
Ideally you will know how to tie in and belay also having a reasonable level of fitness will allow you to get the most from your course.
