The National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS) is a personal performance, non-competitive, incentive scheme for all ages to learn navigation skills and gain confidence to get out and enjoy the countryside.
This course delivers the necessary training and assessesment for the NNAS Bronze Award. The Bronze Award involves navigation in the countryside using paths tracks and other linear features, basic map interpretation and compass work is included. Our 2-day Bronze course delivers training and coaching in mountain navigation followed by a short assesment. Certificates and sew-on patches are awarded to all who gain a pass.
2 days outdoor training, coaching and assessment.
Previous hill walking and map reading experience required.
Instructor will collect and return clients from accommodation daily
Included - instruction & coaching, 3rd Party Liability Insurance, transport daily between accommodation and venues, pass certificates and sew-on patches.
Excluded - accommodation, food, transport to and from Snowdonia.
