This rock climbing course in The Peak District is a great way to test your limits and learn how to Rockclimb with an experienced instructor who can take you along the best routes for you. With all the climbing gear, all you need is a sense of adventure. This climbing course is brilliant for new climbers.
This rock climbing course is designed to strengthen and develop your climbing skills. You will learn how to approach different aspects of climbing that are specific to outdoor rock climbing whilst becoming familiar with specialist equipment. This course is focussed on ‘learning by doing’, so we pack as much real rock climbing in to the two days as possible! We keep out instructor climber ratios low never going above 1:4
We look at a range of rock climbing equipment in order to gain a better understanding of what specific items are designed for and how they work. This helps to build a familiarity with some of the equipment you will come to use as your climbing progresses. We pay a lot of attention to safety and aim to prepare you to become self sufficient climbers in the near future.
As this course is based completely outdoors you need to be prepared for the weather conditions which vary depending on the time of year. All climbing equipment is supplied by First Mountains, but feel free to bring your own if you wish.
