This holiday is best suited to regular cyclists and is graded moderate to strenuous. Highland roads can involve lots of ups and down so although the distances are not long they can feel that way. Oh, and it’s not called the Misty Isle for nothing, you can expect some wet weather. Most of the route is on quiet country roads but some sections are on main roads which can get very busy in summer.
