9am: Training Centre is open for course participants to come in, grab a drink and get prepared for a 9:30 am start.
We spend a good 30 minutes ensuring everybody is suitably kitted out with all of the clothing and technical equipment they need for the day. Free Tea and Coffee available at the centre
10am: Go Caving!
Depending on weather, group experience and size of group we select a local venue and jump in the Pure Outdoor minibus and go for it! This could be a 10 minute drive, it could be half an hour. Sometime we need to walk for 15-20 minutes to get to the caving site. Bring some decent trainers or walking boots.
Bring a packed lunch as we have lunch out at the crag
4-4.30pm: Depending on where we went caving, we usually head back to the Training Centre for a de-brief, pack away the equipment ready for cleaning and grab another cup of tea before finishing up the course and heading home.
Depending on experience of the group and weather conditions the structure of the day is similar to that of day 1. You can discuss what you want to get from the course with your instructor on the first day and this day can be tailored around the needs of the group.
