Learn to rock climb at the rock climbing wall in Sheffield. This climbing centre’s indoor wall provides a safe environment for you to learn to climb safely, leading to you getting outdoors in the future. A great day out for the family that’s fun for kids too.
An ideal way for beginners to start climbing. Two hours of fully supervised climbing with qualified instructors.
You are booking a session that is designed for complete beginners or for someone who has climbed before and feels 'rusty' and requires a refresher session. This session will introduce climbing equipment, show you how to tie knots and how to hold or belay a partner. It will also introduce basic climbing technique. There will be loads of time to climb!
Beginners who attend 3 sessions can on completion use The Edge Climbing Centre unsupervised whenever they wish.
All you need to bring are loose fitting trousers like jogging bottoms.
